  The idea for Kingdom Anime was thought up in 2006. The site went online and became a reality in June 2007. Our goal is to catalog every anime there is in an encyclopedia as well as provide media, news and products from your favorite animes. History: In November of 2000 I became a staff writer for a Transformers site. That opened the door to interviews and articles on Transformers which you'll still see on this site today. In January 2002 I became webmaster of that same site. In September 2005 the TF site was sold and the new owner filled the site with ads and the site became a shell of what it used to be. Most of the 5 years of work were lost. As many people consider Transformers to be anime it just seemed fitting to host my work here and not let it go to waste. That is why you will see some Transformers content from that old site here. Also you'll see the template I had designed for the old site with some images designed by Mr. Kenny Adams of Transfandom.com. (a different site from the one I worked for as he worked for several TF sites) After a long break I decided to create an anime site seeing as I loved anime. Dragonball Z really got me into anime and as I watched more and grew to love the style of art and intense storylines. I had the knowledge to create a site so why not do it about something I really enjoy. So I thought of a name, which was rough as by now everything anime was taken, and purchased it. Then I used my old template, redid alot of the images for my theme and poof! So there you have it. Enter Kingdom Anime. |
