Transformers The Movie: The Musical Experience of the Score
January 2001 - Jess

Did you know the soundtrack is not all that is heard in the movie? Think about it. Someone had to write the music for Starscream's coronation. What about Daniel and Hotrod's fishing trip, do you notice the peaceful music of that scene? How about when we first meet Unicron? That moment he appears and you hear the sinister music in the background. Now your catching on. Let's check this line of music out. Here is the list of score material composed:

•Unicron's Theme
•TF:TM Main Title(alternate) featuring Stan Bush
•2005
•More Luck Than You Imagine
•Attack On The Shuttle (not used in movie)
•Autobot/Decepticon Battle
•Gone Fishin'
•City Under Seige
•Showdown
•Death of Optimus Prime
•Witness to a Funeral
•Contest for Leadership
•Transformation
•Coronation
•Destruction of the Outer Moon
•Escape
•Pursuit
•Arrival on Junk
•Unwelcome Visitors
•The Matrix Survives
•An Unexpected Friend
•Destruction of the Inner Moon Part 1
•Destruction of the Inner Moon Part 2
•Ambush
•Another Leader Dies
•Rescue
•All Hope is Lost
•Unusual Allies
•The Enemy Revealed
•Seizure
•United Against the Enemy
•In the Belly of the Monster
•Their Darkest Hour
•Legacy "audition" piece for the music score

Transformers The Movie: The Musical Experience of the Soundtrack

Various Artist

There's alot of musical talent that went into making this movie. They deserve recognition.

Stan Bush performed the "Touch" and "Dare". You can find new remixes of these songs done in 1997. He also performs a song for Botcon called "Ground Zero". N.R.G. performed "Instruments of Destruction". Vince Dicola had three songs from the score on the sountrack;" Death of Optimus Prime", "Escape", and "Autobot/Decepticon Battle". Spectre General performed "Nothing's Gonna Stand In Our Way" and "Hunger" Lion performs "The Transformers"(theme). Weird Al Yankovic performs "Dare to be Stupid".

Music does help make the movie. A movie without music has no soul.
